Oh Happy Day!

Oh My Goodness!! I am soooo LOVING Doodle Pantry Images!  They are so stink'n cute!!  Now, that being said...I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to cut out the bird with 30,000 feathers on it (mine).....It took FOREVER!! :0) I guess it was worth it though, cuz I think he is extra cute!!  Let me know what you think!

This little guy is super happy about being in the Doodle Pantry Challenge #25 - DPDC25  and....
In the Cricut Cardz Challenge #112 with Mary over at Cardz TV - Tag, You're It
Shopping Our Stash #60 - My Precious....I'm a closet paper hoarder...but it doesn't all fit in the closet any more!!! Ahhh!  I have put myself on lockdown...no more new paper until you use what you have! :0)
The House That Stamps Built DCC718 - Outdoor or wildlife challenge
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes #73
Love To Create #24 - 3 of something

Anyone else find it ironic that I just got a cricut.....I have a printer that prints color images....and now I'm making cards where I color in the image and cut it out by hand!!!  Crazy!!  Ok, enough of my jibber-jabber...lets get on the the recipe! :0)

This card is....well, not an A2.  I'm not sure what it is called but it is 4x9 and fits in a regular business envelope.  I'm sure someone with a little more experience will be able to correct me! :)
My image is Doodle Pantry and he is printed at 4 inches.  I don't have copics yet so I colored him in with good 'ol Crayola Pencils.  I glossy accented his legs and beak as well as the sentiment, flourishes, and middle of the leaves.  Bling for the flowers from my stash as well as the ribbon and raffia.
Papers are from the Recollections - Bold Basics stack...Love It!!
The flowers are from Recollections as well.  Inking done with Tim Holtz Distress-wild honey & peeled paint.
Home Decor Cartridge: branch and leaves - The flourishes at the top are a cut up branch.  It only cuts in one color so I had to cut it a couple more times to get all the leaves. cut @ 1.5"
Wild Card Cart: Oh Happy Day Tag cut @ 2.5"

Sorry I was so long winded on this one!!  This little bird got me super excited to make this card! :0)
Thanks for stopping by!!

The Inside...

A2 size card - paper is K&Company, Sweet Nectar (love it!!)
Raffia around the top, used my Martha Stewart punch for small flowers and butterflies.
Lots of recollection's bling, accents with white gel pen.
I used the Bugaboo digi: butterfly silhouette.  Before printing it on my computer, I inked the sunset colors for the background.  The scallops and flourishes are from Accent Essentials and the sentiment is a Fiskars stamp.

I have never used chalk this way before but her card was soooo cute I just had to scraplift the idea!! Thank YOU Carolyn!!! If you have time, you should definitely go see her blog...she is awesome!

Birthday Train!! Whoot, Whoot!!

Create A Critter!
p57 train, lion
P55 elephant

Owl - Sympathy Card

I think this one ended up looking like a Sympathy Card.  I have not stamped the sentiment yet....just in case. :)  I used some scrap papers...but I really love the printed one.  It looks like satin material. The flourishes and Owl are Inkadinkadoo Stamps.  Owl is stamped once on the blue background and again on a cream printed cardstock, then cut out.  The branch is rolled up brown cardstock.  I just love this set of stamps...there are some beautiful designs.

Purse Gift Set...

Cardstock Purse Using Accent Essentials and Create A Critter.  I still want to make a set of cards to go inside.  Unfortunately this was before my blogging days and I don't think I wrote down my cut sizes. :(
